A 21-year-old youth from Ramapuram murdered his girlfriend, and was found dead at a lodge in Periamet on Friday morning. The deceased woman was identified as Bhavya, 21, a native of Sivaganga district. The accused was identified as Bharathi Perumal, 21, son of Murugan, a resident of Ramapuram.
