A bust of Mahatma Gandhi installed at Gandhi Circle in Haveri was found damaged on Monday morning and the police, having taken up investigation in the case, arrested a 28-year-old youth who is said to be mentally unstable. According to a press release issued by Superintendent of Police of Haveri, the bust of Mahatma Gandhi was damaged between 11 p.m. on Sunday and 5 a.m. of Monday.
