Two booked for obstructing movement of vehicles at Nantoor Junction

The Mangaluru East police booked one Praveen and his wife Lalita for obstructing the movement of vehicles taking a free left turn towards Bikarnakatte from Padua, at Nantoor Junction, on Saturday morning.

In the complaint, police personnel Maligera Halesha said Praveen, with his wife Lalita as the pillion rider, drove his motorcycle from Padua and parked it in a way that caused obstruction to vehicles taking a free left turn and heading towards Bikarnakatte. When he asked Praveen to remove his motorcycle, Praveen verbally abused Halesha and questioned as to why vehicles coming from Padua were being stopped by police for a long time.
