The Aruvikkara reservoir in Thiruvananthapuram. Water supply to several parts of the city will be disrupted from 8 a.m. on April 30 to 8 a.m. on May 1 on account of urgent maintenance work, the Kerala Water Authority (KWA) said on Monday (April 27, 2026). Supply to Valiathura, Ambalathara, Vallakadavu, Kamaleswaram, Kalippankulam, Attukal, Manacaud, Sreevaraham, Poonthura, Puthenpally, Beemapally, Thampanoor, Kunnukuzhi, Vanchiyoor, Kannammoola, Pettah, Perunthanni, Chakka, Kadakampally, Karikkakom, Vettucaud, Poundkadavu, Palayam, Sasthamangalam, Vazhuthacaud, Thycaud, Valiyasala, Jagathy, Kumarapuram, Gowreesapattom, Anamugham, Plamoodu, Nanthancode, Peroorkada, Oolampara, Pippinmoodu, Kowdiar, Ambalamukku, Mannammoola, Vazhayila, and Indira Nagar will be totally affected.
