A total of 62 centres have been set up across Tamil Nadu for the counting of votes polled in the recently Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. As per the procedure, the vote counting procedures would commence at 8 am on May 4. The counting of postal ballots would be the first to start at 8 am. After 30 minutes i.e., at 8:30 am, the counting of votes recorded in the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) would begin.
