With Tamil Nadu heading to the polls on Thursday, a section of Chennai residents have put forward a clear set of expectations for the city’s future, focusing sharply on long-standing civic and infrastructure issues.

A survey conducted by Oorvani Foundation has crystallised these concerns into a ‘Citizens’ Common Minimum Programme’, highlighting urgent areas that voters want their elected representatives to address in the next Assembly term.
