District Collector M. Abhishikth Kishore, Police Commissioner Shanka Brata Bagchi and GVMC Commissioner Ketan Garg on Thursday inspected arrangements for the annual Chandanotsavam at the Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Simhachalam, scheduled for April 20. The Collector stressed effective queue management, deployment of trained personnel, and streamlined QR code-based entry. Officials were asked to ensure adequate shelters, drinking water, medical teams and clear signage for devotees. Crowd regulation at prasadam counters and transport monitoring were also reviewed. DCPs Mary Prasanthi, Manikanta Chandolu and Latha Madhuri, temple Executive Officer Venkata Rao, and officials from various departments were present.
