Photo: @CM_JnK X/ANI Photo J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday (April 28, 2026) described Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan as “a true friend and well-wisher” of Jammu and Kashmir as Mr. Chouhan handed over an approval letter for a ₹3,566-crore Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) package for the Union Territory. “You are not only a friend of J&K but also a true well-wisher. Even in Madhya Pradesh, people call you ‘mama’, and that acceptance reflects the respect you have earned,” Mr. Abdullah said during a function at Sher-i-Kashmir International Convention Centre.
