Tom Cruise will be reuniting with producer Jerry Bruckheimer for the aerial actioner as confirmed by Paramount film co-head Josh Greenstein at the CinemaCon on Thursday (April 16, 2025). The film is a follow-up to Cruise’s Top Gun: Maverick and has been in the works for some years now with the co-writer of Maverick Ehren Kruger hired to write the script two years ago.
