The Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Sunday (April 26, 2026) lodged a complaint against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Papia Adhikari, alleging misuse of the national flag during election campaigning in the Tollygunge Assembly constituency in south Kolkata.

The complaint was filed at Netajinagar police station by Kohinoor Mazumdar, TMC spokesperson and vice-president of the West Bengal Trinamool Chhatra Parishad.
