Home Minister V. Anitha accompanied by Andhra Pradesh Speaker CH. Ayyanna Patrudu formally inaugurated three newly constructed police station buildings—Natavaram, KD Peta, and Golugonda— under the Narsipatnam sub-division in Anakapalli district on Tuesday. Visakha Range Inspector General of Police, Gopinath Jatti, Superintendent of Police, Tuhin Sinha were also present. According to the district police, each station is built at a cost ₹2.5 crore under the Special Infrastructure Scheme (SIS) and under the supervision of the Andhra Pradesh Police Housing Corporation. The police stations are equipped with CCTV surveillance systems, counselling rooms, separate restrooms for women police personnel and essential amenities for staff deployed on bandobust and operational duties.
