Debut writer Chloe Dalton’s transformative memoir, Raising Hare, about nurturing a leveret during the COVID lockdown, was adjudged ‘Book of the Year’ and won the prize for Nature Writing too. It had been shortlisted for the Women’s Prize for Non Fiction 2025 as well. In the Nature Writing shortlist, the judges “highly commended” Yuvan Aves’ Intertidal too.
