Police seized banned foreign cigarettes and e-cigarettes worth over ₹45 lakh in Bengaluru and apprehending three individuals in two separate operations. In the first case, Upparpet police apprehended two persons involved in the illegal storage and sale of banned foreign cigarettes from a shop and godown at Gandhinagar. Acting on a tip-off received on April 7, police raided a premises in Tribhuwan Building on 5th Main Road.
