Joseph Vijay, on Tuesday (April 21, 2026), said the people of Tamil Nadu have given him everything, and he entered politics only with a sense of gratitude to serve them and would not yield to the pressure of “anti-people fascist forces.” In a statement addressing the people of Tamil Nadu, Mr. Vijay alleged that from the very day he entered politics, the DMK, which he described as his party’s political enemy and an “anti-people evil force,” and the BJP, which he called an ideological enemy to his party and a “divisive force,” contesting along with “many others,” had been exerting enormous pressure on him.
