A 48-year-old man murdered his elder brother and his wife near Usilampatti in Madurai district on Monday (April 20, 2026) evening owing to suspected family enmity. The police said the accused M. Subramanian of Keerapatti also attempted to end his life. He has been admitted to the Government Hospital in Usilampatti.
