Deputy Commissioner of Mysuru Lakshmikant Reddy has directed the officials of the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) to ensure that drinking water supply lines, underground drainage systems and electricity cables are properly safeguarded before commencing roadworks in different parts of the city. The Deputy Commissioner chaired a meeting of officials from MCC and other departments on Monday in the light of the approval granted for white-topping works on 12 roads in the city with the first phase beginning on Manandavadi Road, Bogadi Road and Vishwamanava Double Road.
