A Russian national who was found staying at a lodge without a passport, visa, or any other valid identification documents has been arrested and placed in judicial custody. She was staying at a lodge near Punalur railway station and it was the lodge owner who alerted authorities. When police arrived to question her, the woman disclosed her name and nationality but refused to provide further details regarding her background or the purpose of her visit. The authorities confirmed that she possessed no travel documents or identification at the time of her apprehension. Preliminary investigations suggest that she arrived in Delhi before traveling to Kerala by train.
