The prime accused in the abduction-cum-rape case of an actor in a moving car, Sunil N.S., aka ‘Pulsar’ Suni, has approached the Kerala High Court, seeking setting aside of the 20-year sentence that the trial court awarded him in December. In his plea, he submitted that he has already undergone eight years of imprisonment during the period of trial and investigation, from 2017 to 2025, which is over 1/3 of his 20 years of sentence. He also claimed that he was wrongfully convicted in the case.
