Many traditional music and dance schools and training institutions are located in and around Vizianagaram fort but many children of other areas like Gajularega, Kottagraharam, Cantonment and other places are unable to attend for the classes due to lack of direct transport and time constraint after completion of school hours. Puvvada Madhusudan, a businessman, who observed the difficulties of the children established Puvvada Anjamma Memorial Music and Training School in his godown located in Kothagaraham in the name of her mother Anjamma who helped many children to learn traditional dances and Carnatic music.
