After over 5,700 senior citizens above the age of 85 and differently-abled voters of the district cast their postal ballots, personnel on duty in essential services on the day of election (April 23) are casting the postal ballots in the Offices of the Returning Officers.

While 3,557 senior citizens above the age of 85 cast their postal ballots, 2,208 physically challenged voters availed this facility to exercise their franchise. Hence, 5,765 voters have cast their postal ballots.
