As part of the menstrual hygiene initiative, the Kozhikode Corporation has distributed nearly 90% of the menstrual cups procured under its Women’s Component Plan (WCP) within the city limits. The district health authorities and municipal officials said that the rollout progressed across 76 divisions through awareness sessions and training, despite initial delays caused by beneficiary identification and election duties.
