The Coimbatore police on Tuesday seized 5,102 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL), approximately 1,002 litres, which were stocked by three individuals near Annur for illegal sale during dry days announced in view of the Assembly election. The police seized 200 bottles of IMFL from M. Veeramani (35) of Pudukottai and K. Kumar (42) of Sivaganga and the remaining consignment stocked by P. Kalimuthu (48) of Avinashi from Kariyampalayam, during searches. The police have registered a case and further investigation was on.
