Forest Department officials rescued a live pangolin from illegal possession in Pawarguda of Pangidi village in Jainoor mandal of Kumram Bheem Asifabad district. Based on a tip-off, the foresters of Jodeghat range conducted an enquiry and confirmed that Athram Koddu was in illegal possession of the endangered animal listed under Schedule I of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972.
