A 46-year-old man’s organs were donated after he was declared brain dead by doctors at Indira Gandhi Government General Hospital and Postgraduate Institute in Puducherry on Sunday. According to official sources, this is the second instance in the history of the Government Hospital where organs have been retrieved from a brain-dead donor.
