Organs taken from a 48-year-old man from Gobichettipalayam who was declared brain dead were transplanted to seven patients in Coimbatore, saving their lives. The man, Ravichandran, was admitted to Royal Care Super Speciality Hospital following a road accident. He was declared brain dead on Tuesday (April 28) after not responding to treatment, according to the hospital.
