MANJUNATH Administrator of Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) H. V. Darshan said on Friday that an automatic switching system, integrated with Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC), of street lights will be introduced in the city in a phased manner. Speaking to presspersons on the sidelines of the monthly phone-in programme he held with people, Mr. Darshan said that about 66,000 LED street lights are being installed in the city by replacing the conventional ones. The installation is expected to be over by this June.
