The City police on Friday (April 24) arrested five youths for allegedly possessing 122.72 grams of suspected MDMA. They also seized three glass tumblers, an electronic weighing scale, and ₹10,300 believed to be proceeds from drug sales during a flash inspection at Cheruvannur. The accused were identified as V. Ashiq, 31, of Feroke; Mohammed Adil, 27, of Mukhadar; A. Jasir, 27, of Cheruvannur; Mohammed Jasir, 22, of Kummanapadam; and P.T. Mansoor, 36, of Olavanna.
