Mangaluru City Corporation | Photo Credit: H.S. Manjunath Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) will go for rationing of drinking water supply from May 1. The MCC will supply water on alternate days, according to H. V. Darshan, Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada and Administrator of the civic body. Speaking to press persons on the sidelines of the monthly phone-in programme with people of the city on April 24, the Administrator said that rationing will be done to ensure that there is no drop in pressure in pipelines while supplying water to areas at an elevation. With this, there will be equitable distribution of water to all wards.
