A 44-year-old man involved in a fatal road accident on the Durgam Cheruvu cable bridge in Madhapur of Hyderabad was apprehended in Ooty, Tamil Nadu, and brought back to the city on Sunday (April 26, 2026). The accused was identified as 44-year-old Mohammed Abdul Naveed, a data centre technician with an IT background, residing at S A Colony, Tolichowki. The victim, 32-year-old Gosa Shyam Raj, a businessman from Aditya Nagar in New Hafeezpet and a native of Ghatkesar, died in the incident.
