The police arrested a man for stealing mobile phones and cash from workers who were asleep at a fruit shop in Flower Bazaar. Kathiravan, 34, along with a few others, has been working and staying at a fruit shop on Bunder Street in Flower Bazaar. In the early hours of Sunday, Kadiravan and another worker, Chandru, were asleep at the shop after finishing work. They woke up on hearing a noise and noticed an unidentified man fleeing with their mobile phones and ₹1,100 in cash.
