Leslie Clifford D’Souza to be installed as the Bishop of Udupi Diocese on April 20

The episcopal ordination and installation of Rev. Leslie Clifford D’Souza as the second Bishop of Udupi Diocese will be held on for April 20, 2026 at the Milagres College Grounds, Kallianpur.

Fr. Denis D’Sa, Public Relations Officer of the Diocese, told reporters in Udupi on Wednesday, that the ceremony begins at 9 a.m. The consecration ceremony will be conducted during a solemn Eucharistic celebration led by Rev. Filipe Neri Cardinal Ferrão, Archbishop of Goa and Daman, President of the FABC (Federation of Asian Bishops’ Conferences) and CCBI (Conference of Catholic Bishops of India).
