KTU Dean relieved of duties following demotion by parent department

APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) Dean (Academic) and Controller of Examinations Vinu Thomas was relieved of his duties on Monday.

The order issued by KTU Vice-Chancellor Ciza Thomas comes against the backdrop of a disciplinary action by Dr. Thomas’ parent department, the Institute of Human Resources Development (IHRD), which resulted in his permanent reduction in rank from Professor to Associate Professor.
