The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) in Telangana has cancelled the Final MBBS General Surgery Paper-I (regular) examination conducted on April 15, citing discrepancies between the old and new regulations, and has rescheduled it to April 27. According to a press note issued by the university, the decision was taken after it was found that there was a mismatch between the syllabus prescribed under the old regulations and the updated curriculum aligned with National Medical Commission (NMC) guidelines. Certain chapters that were earlier part of General Surgery Paper-I under the old regulations have now been shifted to General Surgery Paper-II in the revised framework.
