The Kerala Council of Churches (KCC) has demanded justice for the family of Nithin Raj, who, it alleged, lost his life after mental torture at the Anjarakkandy Dental College, Kannur. The council demanded strict legal action against those responsible for his death. The KCC pointed out that such increasing atrocities were at variance with civilised society, and that strict interventions should be made by the authorities to stop them, and that there should be no delay in arresting the accused.
