Dinesh Karnataka achieved a “historic” pass percentage of 94.1% in the SSLC exam-1 results for 2026, which was announced by School Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa in Bengaluru on April 23, 2026. The results have shown a marked improvement, with a 14.06 percentage point increase compared to the 80.04% recorded last year, the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board said in a statement. Following the Karnataka High Court order, the State government has assigned marks for third language, instead of grades. However, this year, grades have been given along with marks in all subjects.
