Dakshina Kannada retained the top position in the State for the second successive year with a record 98.4% pass percentage of regular Class 10 students. | Photo Credit: H S MANJUNATH Focused examination preparatory work, coupled with State Government’s measures to face the examination, helped Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts achieve a record performance in the SSLC examination-1 results which were declared on Thursday (April 23, 2026). Dakshina Kannada retained the top position in the State for the second successive year with pass percentage of regular Class 10 students at a record 98.4. Of the 27,207 students who appeared, 26,771 passed and 436 students failed. In 2025, Dakshina Kannada stood first in SSLC-1 examination when 25,326 students passed and 2,341 failed and the pass percentage was at 91.12.
