Special Chief Secretary (Energy) K. Vijayanand directed the power distribution companies (DISCOMs) to intensify the implementation of solar rooftop installations across the State, stating that under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana the government was implementing the Utility Led Aggregation (ULA) model to provide solar rooftop systems for SC and ST electricity consumers. In a video conference, Mr. Vijayanand said the government was moving towards clean energy to reduce the burden of electricity charges.
