Damodar Raja Narasimha has directed officials to ensure immediate treatment for heatstroke victims and strengthen summer preparedness across all government hospitals. At a review meeting in Hyderabad on Wednesday, the Minister instructed the Health department to establish dedicated emergency response teams in every hospital to handle heatstroke cases promptly. He highlighted that trained staff and essential medicines, including oral rehydration salts, must be readily available to begin treatment without delay.
