Google Data Center will elevate Vizag’s position: Palla

TDP State president Palla Srinivasa Rao described the foundation-laying ceremony of Google’s Data Centre as a landmark moment for the State. He further highlighted that the facility would significantly elevate Visakhapatnam’s stature on the global technology map.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Mr. Srinivasa Rao attributed the development to the long-term vision of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu of building a technology-driven Andhra Pradesh, which he said has now begun to take shape. Referring to the one-gigawatt capacity project, Mr. Srinivasa Rao said that the State’s developmental path was aligned with the technological ambitions articulated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
