Cash seized by the Flying Squad team from a car after it was found being carried without necessary documents in Perambalur district. | Photo Credit: Special Arrangement A Flying Squad seized cash amounting to ₹2.49 crore which was being carried in a car without necessary documents in the district in the late hours on Monday. The team, headed by a tahsildar, found wads of currency notes kept in cartons inside the car while checking the vehicle near Sengunam. Official sources said the car was driven by a person identified as Jayaraman.
