The first randomisation of micro-observers and assistants to be involved in the counting of votes polled in the seven Assembly constituencies in Villupuram district was completed on Tuesday. District Election Officer and Collector Sheik Abdul Rahman initiated the computerised randomisation process to assign duties to micro-observes, supervisors and assistants for the counting of votes for the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly elections 2026. The exercise was carried out through the Election Commission of India’s website in the presence of Returning Officers at the Villupuram Collectorate.
