Nithin A major fire broke out at a scrapyard close to the Pullepady bridge on Saturday evening (April 25), disrupting traffic over the bridge for a while as thick smoke engulfed the area. No one was injured. The blaze was brought down by five units of firefighters from Gandhinagar, Club Road and Thripunithura stations in an operation that lasted one and a half hours.
