Excavation in Lakkundi town of Gadag district will be stopped for a day, due to Republic Day celebrations on Monday. Deputy Commissioner C.N. Shridhar, who is also the chairman of the Lakkundi Regional Development Authority, issued an order, providing a brief respite to excavation, said a release.
