Vengadesh Describing the proposed amendment on delimitation as a “conspiracy” and a “black law”, DMK president and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, on Wednesday (April 15, 2026), called upon the people of the State to hoist black flags in every home and public places on Thursday (April 16). “We will hoist black flags in our homes to express our protest and opposition to the amendment to be introduced in the Parliament — a black law. Hoist black flags against the BJP, which is leading India into a dark period,” said Mr. Stalin, who urgently convened a meeting of party MPs and district secretaries.
