The national capital saw a sharp drop in the minimum temperature on Saturday (April 18, 2026), even as the city woke up to a sunny morning.

This comes a day after the city saw moderate rainfall in several parts.

The Safdarjung observatory, which provides representative data for the city, recorded a minimum temperature of 19.8 degrees Celsius, 1.8 degrees below the normal and 4.2 degrees lower than the day before.
