Vibhu A report submitted by an executive engineer of the Kochi Corporation in Kerala has found that the civic body’s otherwise cash-guzzling Ro-Ro service could be viable if operated efficiently. Mayor V.K. Minimol had sought the report at the end of a council meeting on March 12, after councillors across both Opposition and Treasury benches criticised the manner in which the services, currently operated by the Kerala Shipping and Inland Navigation Corporation (KSINC), have been draining the Corporation’s resources year after year.
