Now, on Thursday (January 29), the makers announced that Tamil music sensation Sai Abhyankkar has been roped in to score the music of the film. Wunderbar Films, Dhanush’s production banner, announced the news on X by sharing pictures of Dhanush, Rajkumar and producer Sreyas welcoming Sai to the project. Time’s up. D55 is produced by Wunderbar Films and RTake Studios. Sai, who made a stellar entrance into the indie music scene with ‘Katchi Sera’ and ‘Aasa Kooda,’ made a stellar debut in Tamil cinema with Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dude. The film’s ‘Oorum Blood’ song was one of the most celebrated Tamil songs of 2025. Apart from D55, the composer also has many films in the line-up, including Benz, a Raghava Lawrence-starrer that is part of the LCU; actor Suriya’s Karuppu, directed by RJ Balaji; Silambarasan TR’s STR 49with Ramkumar Balakrishnan; Karthi’s Marshal, directed by Tamizh; and the biggest of them all, Allu Arjun’s much-anticipated magnum opus with Atlee, tentatively called AA22xA6.
