The cybercrimes wing of the Cyberabad Police recovered an additional ₹3.48 lakh during the custody of a 26-year-old accused in a ‘digital arrest’ scam case, taking forward the investigation into an international cyber fraud network. The accused, Gajarla Avinash from Jagtial district, was earlier arrested in connection with the case. Police had previously seized ₹12 lakh in cash, along with a mobile phone and passport. During interrogation, he disclosed that he had concealed part of the proceeds of crime, leading to the fresh recovery of ₹3,48,500 and another mobile phone.
