City Union Bank, one of the oldest private sector banks in India, reported a 25% growth in net profit during Q4FY 2026. The net profit stood at ₹360 crore compared with ₹288 crore a year earlier, the highest ever for a single quarter.

Total deposits rose 23% to ₹78,308 crore, while total advances climbed to ₹66,699 crore from ₹53,066 crore. The bank also opened 1,000th branch at Ammachathiram in Kumbakonam.
