Deputy Floor Leader of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in the Assembly Talasani Srinivas Yadav has ridiculed the “double standards” of the Congress government for targeting former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao in the name of inquiries while keeping quiet on its misdeeds. Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, he alleged that the Revanth Reddy Government had ordered an inquiry only on Kaleshwaram project following sinking of a few piers of the Medigadda Barrage, while it was covering up its failures in the burying alive of eight workers in the Srisailam Left Bank Canal (SLBC) tunnel collapse, flooding of Vattem pump-house of Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme, damage of Peddavagu Project and collapse of Sunkishala drinking water project retaining wall.
